How long have you been in the industry? - 7 years

What drew you to the industry? - I used to be office-based - but wanted to get out & explore the country.

Hobbies / interests? -  Cars, Golf, Travelling

Favourite Scottish food / drink & why? - Balmoral Chicken. 2 of my favourite foods combined! / Irn Bru

Favourite part of Scotland? Oban. There’s something for everyone - and it’s also the “Gateway to the Isles”

Most liked tours and why? - Instagram tour (most scenic posts) photography. - Tours of the Highlands & Western Isles. Some of the most rugged scenery around.

What songs do you like to listen to in the car? Sting, Mark Knopfler, You

How long have you been in the industry? - 6 1/2 years 

What drew you to the industry? - I wanted to change career, my previous position was operational and wanted the opportunity explore more.

Hobbies / interests? - I enjoy keeping fit, as the job involves driving a lot  I need to make sure that my fitness levels are in check! Also a lot of tours involve walking and exploring so i need to keep up! I also enjoy trying new food spots, a great part of the job is exploring different parts of Scotland which also involves trying different restaurants. This is great for new visitors as my recommendations list is always growing.

Favourite Scottish food / drink & why? - Seafood & Steak

Favourite part of Scotland / most liked area to do a tour?  - Inverness. Its a great spot for photography with and there is lots of outdoor activities. 

What songs do you like to listen to in the car? - Opera music

How long have you been in the industry? - 24 years

What drew you to the industry? - I started off as a driving instructor and wanted to progress my career. This seemed like the perfect fit!

Hobbies / interests? - Films and reading - anything to relax after a long day.

Favourite Scottish food / drink & why? - haggis neeps and tatties - with whisky sauce!

Favourite part of Scotland? - Isle of Skye. The landscape is dramatic with fantastic mountains and lakes. Its also very outdoorsy with plenty of water sports and you’ll also find great hiking routes. Portree, the largest town, makes a great base for exploring the island.

Most liked tours and why? - Anything with a sports element! Golf tours have to be my favourite.

What drew you to the industry? - my background is travel / tourism 

Hobbies / interests? Travelling, fave place has to be Hawaii. Sports (football) and movies

Favourite Scottish food / drink & why? Seafood & steak. 

Favourite part of Scotland? - The Highlands, people always get blown away by how incredible it is

Most liked tours and why? - Highlands, beautiful scenery. Golf tours.

Top story from a tour? -  A guest from Atlanta Georgia jokingly said that she "like the red hot chilli pipers' music I was playing in the car. To be fair, I was sick of it too! So as a joke, I put the CD in her bag so when she arrived home I received a lovely message!

What songs do you like to listen to in the car? - Scottish music! However I do take requests.
